Heather Hundtoft, LCSW
About me
I'm a therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals through life's most challenging moments. I work with clients navigating stress, anxiety, addiction, family conflicts, and self-esteem concerns, drawing on evidence-based approaches tailored to each person's unique needs.
My practice focuses on helping clients build healthier relationships, discover their life purpose, and cultivate genuine self-love. I specialize in addressing social anxiety, guilt and shame, codependency, and communication struggles. I'm also experienced in supporting clients through workplace issues, body image concerns, eating-related challenges, fertility questions, and the complexities of sexuality and intimate relationships.
I have a particular commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ clients and creating an affirming, inclusive space for all. I'm also skilled in helping clients work through family-of-origin patterns, domestic violence recovery, anger management, and impulse control.
My approach is grounded in compassion and collaboration. I believe in meeting you where you are and working together toward meaningful, sustainable change. Whether you're facing addiction, relationship challenges, or questions about identity and purpose, I'm here to support your journey with honesty, respect, and genuine care.
Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage, and I'm honored to walk alongside you.
