Life is a Journey, the Journey is the Reward. My first counselor helped me learn the multiple opportunities of my life Journey. His positivity and enthusiasm encouraged me to me to become a counselor. Consequently, my style of counseling embraces positivity and enthusiasm plus enjoying the process of creating the pathways of your Journey . My approach utilizes person-centered, cognitive behavior therapy and solution focused theories. The use of motivational interviewing helps you gauge your current level of motivation for possible options and assists me to gain knowledge of what works for you in the therapeutic process.
Counseling with me is based in choice, these include crafting goals you yearn to embody, objectives that you pick to implement and test, including the opportunity visit new paths to achieve a life worth living. I believe counseling is a gift, where you and I join in a common focus during each session. Each time we meet you share what is on your mind and we work together to find solutions and experience the rewards of new possibilities on your Journey.

I have really enjoyed working with Heather. I switched to her and feel that her style is the style I need. She listens to you and you feel heard as well. I would recommend her!
She is a caring person who GENUINELY wants the best for people, or me specifically. Every time I talk to her, I get a wave of thankfulness that the universe blessed me with this woman as my therapist. I hope the best things happen for her, if they aren’t already with the amount of peace she holds in her heart. I’m gonna have a hard time ever leaving her (if I do)
While I have only had one session with Heather to this point (I have scheduled more) she was very thorough in ensuring she understood my needs at the start of the session. As we navigated the conversation she was very insightful with her questions. Very pleased with the results and the conclusions I came to at the end of the 1st meeting
I’ve been really enjoying our sessions. They help me a lot. It’s nice just to have someone to talk to.
