About me

I am appreciative that you took the time to read my page. I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland. I have over 20 years of experience working in the human services field and over 10 years working as a licensed therapist. During my experience, I have worked with individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, grief & loss, mood disorders, etc. I specialize in working with those that have a history of trauma (child & adult).

I believe in a person-centered approach where those that I work with feel a sense of respect and self-sufficiency. I believe in meeting the individual where they are in therapy and developing goals based on what they want to improve upon or better understand within themselves. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, strength-based approaches, solution focused, motivational, person centered, and trauma informed approaches. I use various techniques and use what will work best for you since each person responds differently.

If you are ready to take the steps to better understand or improve upon yourself, I am here to encourage and empower you along the way.

I look forward to working with you!
