I am a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker with a master’s degree in social work from Wichita State University, Wichita, Kansas. I have over 13 years of experience working with children, adults, and families. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-harm, career challenges, and SPMI’s.
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive therapy that best suits the individual to create a safe environment for each person to understand and manage their challenges. I feel that it is so important for one to feel empowered to define their own strengths, understand their challenges and build new healthy thinking patterns. The goal for each person I work with is to feel supported and discover new coping skills they need to achieve success, communicate their needs effectively, and thrive.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

I've never looked at therapy in a positive light because it's like going to the mechanic because your car has problems, not fun and costs alot of money. Since I switched to Heather for my last chance at therapy my outlook on it has changed. I look forward to meetings and can see hope in getting the help I always hoped for. If your looking here for a reason to get therapy or choosing Heather, my opinion best of the best, out here breaking barriers and giving hope.
Thank you Heather your awesome!
