Hello. My name is Heidi, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State and National Certified Counselor (NCC); I am also licensed to practice in the State of Idaho. I have Masters of Education in Counseling Psychology with over 10 years of experience working as a mental health counselor. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and intellectual challenges, among others. I enjoy working with clients from many different cultural and religious backgrounds. However, as a Christian myself, I specialize in counseling from a Biblical perspective. I accept, encourage, and welcome the exploration of all spiritual beliefs.
How we think determines what we believe and what we believe determines our behavior. We will explore negative thoughts that are leading to unhealthy behaviors. As thinking changes, long-lasting behavioral change is possible. My counseling style would be considered eclectic as I use concepts from a variety of theories. Every individual is unique; thus, I do not believe in ‘one size fits all’ assembly-line counseling. Rather each individual is unique and requires an individualized cooperative therapy plan.
Are you ready to be inspired to change? I am a change agent who, in tandem with you, will work to create and inspire positive change.

Heidi, is a wonderful therapist. She takes the time to get know you as an individual and what specific concerns you have. She is very patient and does not rush you while you are expressing yourself. She then offers various ways to see your concerns in a new way, offers practical skills to address your concerns, and provides excellent exercises to help you overcome issues. For me personally her ability to speak to me within my Christian faith is an added bonus because it helps me see the spiritual aspect of things not only just the mentally. Since working with Heidi, I am growing both mentally, spiritually, and all around as a woman. I am very happy with my journey thus far with Heidi’s help.

I feel that Heidi believes me and wants to understand my circumstances. I appreciate that she can put herself in my shoes. It’s nice to have someone listen and also ground me to reality and to not worry so much with the unknown.
