About me

Positive mental health is one of the most valuable things we can strive to have, and is a hugely important part of wellbeing at every stage of life. But life is complex, and at one point or another, most of us experience some issues that require deeper attention and support. Whether you’re facing something difficult currently, or there’s something from your past holding you back, therapy can help you discover the root of the issue, address problematic thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and help you embark on a more positive pathway forward.

As a qualified psychotherapist, my role is to help you understand your experiences, and equip you with the confidence and autonomy to make changes that will help you regain control of your life. My approach is flexible, creative and nurturing, and I encourage bringing our personalities and a touch of humour into the sessions. The success of therapy relies on a good, collaborative relationship, so we’ll work together to identify areas of concern and tailor a plan of support around your individual needs and goals. With mutual dedication to the process, therapy can be a challenging but highly empowering experience.

I have 10 years experience working in different settings with a wide range of adult and adolescent clients. As a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to a framework that ensures that my clients receive a recognised ethical and professional standard service.
