About me

My name is Hope and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. I went on to pursue my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Before I became a telehealth therapist with Betterhelp I did my internship and registered internship at an outpatient drug rehabilitation center and worked there for a total of 4 years. After I got licensed I went on to pursue my own private practice that mainly focused on anxiety and stress management.

I specialize in working with individuals who are struggling with the anxiety and stress of everyday life. I take an empathetic approach to healing that focuses on being in the present moment. I am committed to providing you with a safe and secure environment where you can feel supported, understood, and heard. I am dedicated to listening to you and helping you process your emotions without judgement while providing practical suggestions to everyday life problems that can help you move forward and feel better overall.

Having worked with a lot of Employee Assistance Programs I have a lot of experience working with people struggling with work place stress and anxiety. Having worked in both retail and an office setting myself, as well as, owning my own business I understand the struggles associated with work place stress and how it can impact other areas of your life. My goal is to work collaboratively with you to help you make positive changes in your life by building your tool box with positive and healthy coping skills for managing stress and anxiety symptoms while promoting balance, self-care, and wellness to help you achieve your goals.

Being a woman and a mom I enjoy working with other women to help them gain confidence in themselves. Rather you’re contemplating a career change, a life change, are a stay-at-home mom, a working mom, are going through tough times, or just need someone to talk to I'm here to help provide you with the comfort and support that you're looking for. We all need a little support and encouragement especially during life’s most difficult moments.

I pride myself on working with clients who are willing to put in the time, effort, and work that therapy requires to help you achieve your goals and live the life you have always wanted. I strive to help you achieve your desired change rapidly and to move you onto the maintenance and support phase of the process.

I consider it an honor and a privilege for you to allow me into your life as your therapist. Thank you so much for allowing me be a part of your journey. I look forward to working with you!

Hope is amazing! She is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and great at helping me work through my anxiety. I said it once and I’ll say it again, she probably knows me better than I know myself!

Hope is kind, caring and very professional. She is a skilled listener and therapist and I would recommend her without reservations. She helped me immensely with managing my social anxiety and helped me develop a variety of techniques for handling stressful situations.

Absolutely the best therapist ever! I was so scared to do therapy because I tried in person and hated it. But once my depression, anger, and anxiety got bad I knew I had to do something, so I signed up for Better Help. The first therapist I got sucked, didn’t really read what I wrote or responded at all, so instead of just stopping therapy for the second time I decided to change therapists and I am so happy I did. I can write a whole novel and Hope will read every word, talk to me, ask me questions and the best thing ever is listen to me. We have never had a video or phone call but I can tell through messaging that she really listens to me. She really does give me hope for my future and my mental health and I truly am grateful for her every single day.
