My name is Isabella Chayne Boutillette, however, I go by Chayne (like Shane-the man's name). I live in a very remote area of Colorado, in a small town (population < 10,000) I am 62 years old and have been a practicing psychotherapist since 1995. This is my second career. My specialty is marriage and family therapy, but have provided services across the lifespan, from pre-school children, to geriatrics aged adults living in a nursing home. I have also provided services to individuals, families, couples and groups.
My early practice was at our local community mental health center, which gave me experience with and training for dealing with the span of issues, including stress reduction, change or phase of life issues (moving, marriage, divorce), to major mental health issues, for example, schizophrenia, and other thought disorders, mood disorders like major depression and anxiety disorders.
I have a solution-focused practice and would endeavor to assist you in establishing goals for therapy. I like the idea of formulating objectives to meet long term goals. I also use therapeutic opportunities to confront issues that arise in the session and often make homework assignments. I believe in an, "...act as if.." practice. I promise to always meet you where you are, allow you to drive the therapeutic process, and encourage you to have an open mind as we begin walking the path toward wellness.

I've been working with Chayne off and on for over a year now and I am so grateful for her guidance and listening. She's a lifesaver right now.
So far I’m enjoying our sessions a lot! It feels like she’s making an effort to connect with me and really work with me on finding ways to grow/be healthier when it comes to my overall mental health and other things in my life I wish to address.
She's been so helpful and always met me where I was. I'll always be grateful. Be blessed.
