There are not enough great things I can say about Jackie Burns. Jackie is full of knowledge, kind words and wisdom. I was hesitant about BetterHelp, but being paired with Jackie quickly changed my perception. She encouraged me, gave me strength and a smile on days where I thought those things would be impossible. There was never a day I logged off without thinking “I’m so thankful for this woman”. With her many years of insight, it seemed that she was just the person I needed. Jackie Burns will have forever made a huge impact on my life. I went to her when I was in a really dark place. I was alone, moved somewhere where I didn’t know anyone, was heartbroken, and dealing with inner demons. she never failed to truly listen to me and take everything I said into consideration. She was patient with me as I would forget to respond or I would forget worksheets. She was always calm and helpful. She open my eyes to what I really needed. She helped me get to where I am today. I’m truly thankful for this experience and to have known this wonderful professional. She was always there when I needed and answered promptly. As I go forward, now stable and genuinely happy, I will always think of Jackie and her kind words. It is nice having someone in your corner when you feel like you’ve been pushed to the lions den. I don’t think I can describe the impact she’s made. I went from being incredibly depressed, anxious, alone, and tired to now being the happiest I’ve ever been and soon to be married.

Jackie has really helped me through a lot of what I’ve been struggling with over the past few years. I don’t think I would be as hopeful or relaxed with my life as I am now if it had not been for the help I received through BetterHelp. My counselor really made me feel like I could get through my hard time and come out on top, and I still have my ups and downs, but having someone to sit with every week and talk about what’s going on with my life and put things into perspective saved me from myself. I have learned how to believe I am good enough and that what I am feeling I can change and overcome.
Written on Oct 15, 2018 after therapy with Jacquelyn (Jackie) for 2 months on issues concerning relationship issues
Jackie is an absolute gem. She’s really kindhearted and supportive, but also tries to help you see things from dissenting perspectives. She is great at provoking your mind to dig deeper, to really pinpoint where your problems stem from. All in all, she’s encouraging and relatable. I really enjoy talking with her, even though I’ve only really had two in-depth sessions with her one on one. So far, she’s been a great help.
