Jaclyn Trevino, LPC, LMFT
About me
Hello, my name is Jaclyn Trevino. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Texas. I began my role as a counselor when I graduated with my Masters in Community Counseling in 2013. I am passionate about assisting others in reaching their goals through a warm and collaborative process. I believe that seeking help to better oneself takes courage and self-awareness, qualities that I truly appreciate and reflect during the therapeutic relationship. I have counseling experience assisting clients that are struggling in their current life circumstances, with anxiety, grief, depression, and communication/relational problems.
We will respectfully work together to identify obstacles, gain insight into challenges and create strategies to overcome them. I believe that individuals are responsible for their own behaviors, thoughts, and feelings, but occasionally need help processing it all. I hope to facilitate for my clients greater self-awareness through their life experiences which may lead to increased confidence, peace, self-esteem, independence and the capacity to effectively navigate the complex challenges of life. I am here to support you and assist you on your journey of personal growth.

I’ve tried a few therapists over the years and Jaclyn has been the only one that I’ve felt comfortable, supported and encouraged by. She’s really great!

Jaclyn is amazing and gifted. She listens and then helps me understand and process my anxiety. She has taught me tools to use and most importantly is always a text away when I get off track! It's a journey. I can't imagine the past 4 months without her help!

Jaclyn's calm demeanor and soothing presence help me get through her sharp and accurate reflections. She has helped me through difficult emotions and complex dynamics by processing the information with me. She has been a really helpful guide. I both love and hate the feeling I get when I start crying because she can pinpoint the feeling that I cannot put into words with her reflections.

By far the best listener and able person to articulate /write what was discussed - with action plan, in an intuitive productive manner.
