About me

I am a marriage and family therapist licensed in Florida and Texas with over 15 years experience working as a therapist. I have worked with many clients experiencing a wide range of concerns including depression and anxiety, relationship and parenting issues, work/life balance, trauma, and abuse.

My counseling style is compassionate and engaging. I believe as a part of the human condition we all come to face difficulties in life and we are all deserving of respect, empathy, and understanding in our time of need. My approach combines counseling techniques to help clients articulate their concerns into a actionable plan to achieve the client’s desired outcomes together. I utilize humanistic, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral techniques while conceptualizing from a family systems perspective when helping with relationship issues.

It is a courageous moment to make the decision to seek help to have a more fulfilled and happier life. I am here to assist you along your journey, with support and empowerment you can achieve a work/life balance that’s best for you and your family and friends.

I hope to hear from you soon!

Jacqueline is exactly what I was looking for in a counselor. She is very patient, not judging at all, very open-minded and kind. After just a few weeks I was able to inspect my own thinking and alter my harmful thoughts, she has so much experience and knowledge.

Jacqueline is professional yet extremely approachable and friendly; will tell you what you need to hear but also works at your pace. Therapy isn’t easy however I couldn’t imagine doing it with anyone else.

I love working with Jacque. I have done in person counseling and virtual coaching in the past, but was still a little unsure of what to expect this time around. Jacque is very personable, very empathetic and makes me feel listened to and validated. My goals were to take all of my previous counseling/coaching experiences and apply them and Jacque takes great notes and recalls things I've mentioned before to ensure that my goals remain the focus. From anxiety, to burnout, to relationship issues, I have confidence in my work with Jacque.

Being black there’s such a stigma on mental health. This is just what I needed and also so much more affordable. Jackie is a great listener and she plugs in ideas that I just didn’t think of. She has me look at myself and to know I deserve to love myself as much as I love those who I care for.
