About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. I have worked with children starting at age 3 to adults and couples for more than 5 years, both online and face-to-face settings. I have worked with a variety of presenting issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship and family issues, trauma, and anger management.
My experience is varied and across settings, as I provide individual, group, and family therapy in a community outreach and school environment. I believe everything and everyone around us contributes to our development and reaction to situations. I strive to treat our therapeutic relationship, and you, with compassion, respect, and patience.
My therapy style is cognitive behavioral therapy along with solution-focused brief therapy and is based on where you stand and what will work to get you to your homeostasis, your place of balance, and working together to meet your goals and needs. I will work with you to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
