About me

I am a licensed social worker in Michigan and Indiana with over 7 years of experience working as a therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, anger management difficulties, career challenges and adjusting to major life changes. I also help many people who have experienced physical trauma, emotional abuse or sexual abuse. I am SOGIE Affirmative in my treatment.

My counseling style is non-judgmental, warm, interactive, direct and empowering. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach is eclectic, which means that I am trained in multiple styles of therapy and utilize the style that best suites each client. I tend to use a lot of cognitive-behavioral therapy, Inner Child Healing work, Motivational Interviewing techniques, and EMDR techniques. I teach skills for managing difficulties until those difficulties can be resolved. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to acknowledge there is room or need for change, seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you..

My hours are generally Monday through Friday 8a-5p

I look forward to working with you!

Jacqueline doesn't tell me what I want to hear—she tells me exactly what I NEED to hear, which I so greatly appreciate. She helped me get to the root of all the things that have been on my mind the past few weeks and has been wonderful to speak to!

Jacqueline is a fantastic therapist. She uses a variety of techniques and seems to be a wealth of knowledge about the human condition and psyche. She is attentive and a strong advocate and is both a guide and a great listener. I really appreciate the work she is doing with me and would definitely recommend her to others!
