About me

Aloha I'm Jackie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who believes that therapy should be a safe, compassionate space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing without fear of judgment. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and concerns related to self-worth and empowerment. I have a particular interest in supporting women as they navigate difficult seasons, personal growth, and major life changes.

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and individualized to each person. I draw from evidence-based approaches including EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), while also incorporating creative and expressive techniques, including art therapy interventions, when they are helpful. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you better understand your experiences, develop healthy coping skills, process difficult experiences, and move toward the life you want.

For clients who desire it, I also welcome the opportunity to thoughtfully integrate Christian faith into therapy. I believe faith can be an important source of meaning, strength, and hope, and I will always respect your individual beliefs and preferences. I also offer therapy in both English and Spanish.
