About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with over 15 years of experience working as a therapist and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I have worked with clients with a variety of issues including grief and loss, substance use, anxiety, stress, depression and marital relationships. I have twenty years of experience working with adolescents addressing mental health issues, legal, academic challenges and substance use.

My counseling style is genuine and attentive. I am a good listener and meet the client where they are. I do not judge the client or label the clients behavior. My therapeutic approach is a combination of cognitive-behavioral, rational emotive, solution focused and psycho dynamic counseling. I will work with you to develop a treatment plan specifically to meet your needs.

The decision to ask for help is not easy. I commend you for taking a step in the right direction to increase change in your life. If you are ready I am available to listen and provide the support and encouragement you need.

I look forward to working with you.

Jacqueline was there when I needed someone to talk to. She open up my eyes to what I couldn’t see. When I felt so alone she felt like a caring friend I have known for years. I would recommend her and BetterHelp to my friends.

Jacqueline’s words and spirit are uplifting and encouraging. For the past couple of weeks that I have been with her, I have left our sessions feeling equipped and optimistic about my growth and have also developed a better understanding of my behavioral patterns and thought process. I genuinely look forward to our time together and feel safe opening up to Jacqueline. I would recommend Jacqueline to anyone that is hurting and in need of guidance—as she is honest, straightforward and a wonderful listener.
Thank-you, Jacqueline, for all that you have helped me through so far.

She listens to what I say but challenges me to dig deeper into my thoughts and asks thought provoking questions. I’m not always ready to answer but it helps me think about things.
