About me
Hello everyone and welcome to your new beginning! Firstly, I'd like to thank you for considering me in your therapy journey. This can be a nerve-wrecking and uncertain decision and I'm honored to be your potential therapist. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and completed my master’s in counseling at North Carolina A&T State University. I’m a rostered TF-CBT therapist and practice through a trauma-informed lens, helping clients feel safe, seen, and empowered.
I take a straightforward yet gentle approach to therapy, honest and direct, but always grounded in compassion and respect. My style is laid-back and approachable, while still maintaining the professionalism and structure needed to support real progress. I believe in meeting people where they are, working together to build on the strengths they already have. My goal is never to change who you are at your core, but to help you grow into the best version of yourself with authenticity, resilience, and self-trust. Therapy with me is flexible and client-centered: sometimes structured, sometimes more conversational, always guided by your needs and goals.
