Jaime Malone, LPC
About me
I am licensed in New Jersey with 21 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, & parenting issues. I also have experience working perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
Counseling is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself and a healthy way to invest in yourself. I think of it as a cooperative problem solving process, where you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. I strive to add additional strategies and strengths to the ones you already have, so you're able to face new (or old!) problems with a wider variety of approaches (and hopefully more confidence to do so).
Counseling also helps you gain back time in the rest of your life. Have you ever been distracted from what's right in front of you because you're focused on the stressors in your life? Counseling gives you a dedicated space and time to focus on those stressors, so that you can hopefully enjoy the other important parts of your life more fully!
I attended college at Johns Hopkins University (Public Health) and then completed my graduate degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University. I have worked in schools, hospitals and treatment programs, as well as private practice setting. I have been delivering counseling services online since 2020 and find it a very effective format for counseling that helps make fitting it into your life realistic!
Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

Jamie is fabulous. She knows just the right questions to ask and she really does a great job at navigating not only what is being spoken out loud but also between the lines. I highly recommend her.

Even though I’ve only had two sessions with Jaime, I already feel genuinely cared for and understood. She has such a kind, calming presence that makes it easy to open up, and her words have stayed with me in the best way. It’s rare to feel this safe and seen so quickly, and I’m truly grateful to have found her. I’m really looking forward to the healing ahead.
Jaime brings such gentleness and sincerity into the room . it’s like being reminded that you’re not alone, even in your hardest moments. I can already tell this space she’s creating with me is going to be something special.
