My practice has focused on clients with co-occurring disorders. I specialize in working with individuals who experience difficulty controlling anger, anxiety, depression, abuse/neglect, parenting difficulties, addiction, stress, grief, trauma, lack of coping skills, mood disorders, and personality disorders. Jamal is a wonderful therapist. I can be a bit of a talker - and he does a great job listening, directing conversations and listening non-judgmentally. He made me feel fully comfortable from the first time we met. He has a great sense of humor and uses it at appropriate times. I feel heard, and that is the best feeling.

I liked Jamal when I first met with him, I felt like we connected and he could help me on my healing journey. He then canceled my next appointment the day of, not even an hour before the appointment. He then no showed my next 2 appointments. I was looking for help and was left empty handed. I hope in the future Jamal is better organized with his clients.

Jamal is kind, and understanding. I have no problem opening up and discussing those things I wouldn't want to talk to anyone else about.
