I’ve had one session with James so far but I have nothing but good things to say. He listens well and makes good suggestions when I need help.

He is kind. He listens and affirms my feelings and assures me I’m not alone in how I feel others are in these dark trenches of life with me and he won’t abandon me while I navigate these dark tunnels so I can find the beauty waiting on the other end. He helps me have hope.

James is really just helpful in ways where he really listens to you and hears you and what is on your mind and heart. He has a calming way of making you feel you are never as bad as you think you are, or your situation isn't solvable in some ways. He wants to help your specific situation and helps share in ways you can move forward and what that may look like. He isn't there to come down on you for what you share, he makes you think and believe what you are going through is ok and normal with just being human. He makes you feel things will be ok and I am there talking to him for a reason, so how can he help and instill in me what I want to believe enough to want to change. Very encouraging and at the end of sessions, well, you just feel better.
