These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for James Joseph Beaulieu. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Jim is extremely knowledgeable, empathetic, and understands when to take a pragmatic approach versus dig deep into a root cause. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Written on Mar 11, 2026 after therapy with James Joseph for 9 months on issues concerning depression, addictions, career difficulties, bipolar disorder, and adhd

Jim has a rare gift for truly listening — not simply waiting to respond, but listening to understand. He creates a safe, grounded space where you feel heard, respected and supported. His ability to share relevant stories at just the right moment brings perspective and reassurance without ever shifting the focus away from you.

Jim asks thoughtful, insightful questions that gently challenge you to reflect more deeply while always honoring your pace. He leads with empathy, never judgment, and consistently encourages growth, clarity and self-compassion.

If you are looking for a therapist who combines wisdom, warmth and practical guidance, Jim is someone you can trust wholeheartedly.

Easy to speak with and is very informative. Thank you!

Written on Feb 22, 2026 after therapy with James Joseph for 2 weeks on issues concerning relationship issues, family conflicts, anger management, and compassion fatigue

James understands me, has lived a well rounded life as someone who was once a collegiate athlete, and understands my issue isn’t necessarily a “Laziness” problem, it’s a dopamine problem. Which takes judgement, shame, and pressure off of myself.

In my most recent conversation with James, I found to be a great listener and he allowed me to get my thoughts without any interruption. Also, an opportunity to write out my thoughts.
This was our 1st session so far
