About me

I am Licensed in Colorado (LPC), and have over 10 years of experience as a Psychotherapist. I have worked with a wide range of concerns, including, relationship issues, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and addiction. I use treatment modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement, Desensitization, and Reprocessing), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

My approach to therapy is client centered. I believe that it is more important to utilize the skills from different treatment modalities that make the most sense for each individual client. I like to provide education to help my clients understand their diagnosis, emotional responses, and the treatment options that will work best for them, and why. I will work closely with each client, to ensure they feel comfortable and heard in each session, and utilizing the skills that make the most sense for them to make the most progress. It is important to me that all of my clients feel they are making progress after each session.

It takes courage to reach out and take the steps to make positive changes. I am ready to help.
I look forward to working with you!

Jamie has helped me immensely over the last 8 months. She is very easy to talk to and did a great job giving me the tools to overcome and or at least cope with the issues I was facing. Right from the first session, I felt like we had at least taken a step in the right direction. Thank you so much, Jamie!

She has been a fantastic counselor match for me through and through! I really appreciate her help and expertise

Jamie has been the diamond in the rough when it comes to counselors. I've done therapy and counseling many times in the past and simply never got anything from it, other than being asked "so how does that make you feel", 30x in a 60min session. She truly cares, took the time to understand my specific goals for counseling, and has the expertise to address the root cause of my issues rather than just band-aid the symptoms. Thank you Jamie, you truly make a measured positive impact on my life.

Jamie provides a safe space for you to express everything you need and knows how to guide you through difficult moments. Not only that, she understands how to untangle your mind and show you how and why you feel the way you do and act thw way you act. She has a smooth, caring voice that is very genuine and working with her has empowered me, made me the confident man I always yearned to be, and most importantly, gave me the clarity that I was seeking for such a long time. I cannot begin to express how much I would reccommend Jamie to anyone who is looking to heal, find clarity, find themselves, and thrive in life. Thank you Jamie for being you, forever grateful.
