Jamie Pelishek, LMSW
About me
Hi, I’m Jamie! For over 12 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of mental health and education. As a full-time school-based Social Worker, I have a front-row seat to the incredible pressure our educators and parents face , as well as the complex challenges our teens and children navigate every day.
Whether you are a teacher, a helping professional, a parent on the edge of burnout—or a teen feeling overwhelmed by the world—I provide a grounded, judgment-free space to help you find your footing again. My approach is client-centered and non-judgmental, with specialized training in DBT and CBT. Additionally, I am a breast cancer survivor and have a passion for supporting those navigating their own medical journeys as well.
A little more about me:
I’m a parent myself and deeply value the humbling experience that is raising humans! I am a passionate advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring different coffee shops, travel, skiing, boating, hiking and running.
