About me

I believe that an authentic, caring, and strong connection between therapist and client is essential to facilitate meaningful change and it is an honor to be invited to participate in another person’s transformational journey.
My role as a therapist is to not only help clients heal the inevitable relational wounds, but also to help them cultivate the resilience to live life with courage, compassion, and clarity. I seek to help clients find the changes they seek by responding to the needs and challenges that emerge during our work together.
As a therapist, I strive to build a healing relationship that fosters trust and growth. I will listen and respond as a non-judgmental witness trying to understand how all the parts of your experience affect movement toward your desired goals.

Jan is amazing, has helped me through so much already and we’re just getting started!

Jan is incredibly insightful, compassionate and realistic. I had a bad taste in my mouth about therapy after having a not so great therapist before her but I am SO thankful I gave it a second shot and landed with Jan. I feel comfortable sharing private and uncomfortable thoughts and experiences with Jan, which was also a difficult concept for me to grasp when thinking of the idea of therapy. Her abilities to actively listen and share a different perspective/ feedback without being judgmental has been very helpful and comforting in my therapy journey.

Jan has been a wonderful therapist the last few months. She assisted me through sorting out relationship issues and dealing with addiction. I would highly recommend her.

She is very patient and understanding when it comes to issues that are being lined out, and her encouragement consists of individual steps that slowly make me feel like I'm making progress with getting better. Definitely awesome to talk with.
