Janice Ong, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, with 8 years of professional work experience. I received my MA Christian Counseling from Oral Roberts University. My work is dedicated toward seeing individuals succeed and live their best life, by coming alongside them to assist them to successfully navigate through life challenges. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, anger management, grief, loss, self esteem, and identity issues.
I use the integrative approach in therapy, which draws the best from evidence-based counseling techniques and approaches including CBT, EMDR, and Play Therapy. I am trained in the Gottman Couples therapy and have a passion to see couples and families thrive in their relationships.
I believe in the healing power of a collaborative, therapeutic relationship and I seek to provide a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental environment where clients can share their thoughts and feelings openly, and move towards healing and wellness.
