Jasmine Doxie, LPC
About me
Hey! My name is Jasmine Doxie, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of South Carolina, as well as, a Certified Life Coach and National Certified Counselor. I have 4 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, and, over 10 years of experience in behavioral healthcare.
I specialize in helping clients with relationship issues, trauma and abuse, intimacy related issues, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. Often times we can get so bogged down with caring for the needs of others, that we neglect our own needs and boundaries. When we find ourselves pushing our needs to the back burner, and placing priority on others; burnout can easily set in. Emotional fatigue, compassion fatigue, and passive surrender do not have to be elements of your story. Finding the right support can be pivotal for a your longterm well-being.
My philosophy is that each client is the expert of their life. My role as the clinician is simply to walk with you as you explore, and adapt, all of the parts of your narrative for your benefit. I work from a collaborative, and strengths-based, approach helping clients maximize their sense of self and feelings of empowerment.

I’m new to therapy, I was anxious about what to expect and feeling like I would have so much to unload. Jasmine has been so wonderful and so easy to talk to. She is so knowledgeable and I feel so connected to her. She has definitely helped me in just a short amount of time, I am excited to see how overtime she can help me even more.

Honestly I’ve only had one session and constant engagement on text but Jasmine is the best. I’m not just saying this. I went through 2 other therapist and finally found jasmine. She’s so amazing, so understanding, so wise and just give the best advice. I am in a really dark place and with Jasmine I am able to see hope and I actually have developed skills just after one session that have helped me immensely. I couldn’t have asked for a better therapist honestly and can’t wait to continue to heal with her help.

Jasmine has been amazing with helping me through this rough patch I’m having. She responds in a timely manner and offers ways of processing feelings through short assignments that actually challenges me to think. It is refreshing to have a counselor like her that doesn’t just sit and listen and agree with everything I say. She actually makes me think and process my feelings and it’s greatly appreciated. I’d highly recommend her to everyone.

She doesn't need my name. She'll know it's me. She's smart. She's also a wonderful therapist. She just needs to know that she is a wonderful therapist as much as I do
