Jasmine Terry, LCSW
About me
Hello! I'm Jasmine, A Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Social Work degree from Georgia State University. Over the years, I've had experience working with many populations from children to older adults in many settings including in the community for mobile crisis intervention, inpatient hospitals, partial hospitalization programs, and outpatient care.
With a compassionate and empathetic approach, I work with individuals to build a strong foundation to become their best form of self. My practice is person-centered and strengths based focusing on the individual as a whole. I believe everyone has the right to feel heard and supported.
I incorporate mindfulness, self compassion tools, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills into sessions to assist clients in managing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors and address difficult emotions. I enjoy working with teens and adults who are looking to make changes in their lives and better navigate interpersonal relationships.
*Please note I am only able to see clients who are physically in the state of Georgia.

I have only had a few sessions but so far it has been positive. I feel like she is paying attention to me and offering new ways to think about my problems and break negative habits.
