My name is Jason Adams, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, and a National Certified Counselor. I have over a decade of experience in the field of mental health and currently operate a private counseling practice in Keller, Texas. I primarily work with young adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, career issues, relationship and marriage problems, and other life challenges. I also work with couples and business professionals.
My approach is to develop a relaxed, non-threatening, and non-clinical professional relationship with my clients. I recognize that the first step to a better life is often the most difficult. I help my clients with that first step and the path that follows. Together, we develop individualized strategies that produce results and lead to a more fulfilling life.
I completed my master's degree in counseling at Dallas Baptist University. I also have a bachelor's degree in corporate communication, which I utilize in my work with entrepreneurs and business professionals. My professional experience includes stints in business management and various sectors of the field of mental health, including working with mild to severe mental health issues, intellectual disabilities, foster and adoptive families, and victims of abuse. More recently, I've concentrated my counseling practice on dealing with the common, yet significant, challenges that life inevitably brings.
If you are searching for direction, contentment, or need help getting past an obstacle in your personal or professional life, I would welcome the opportunity to assist you.

I have been working with Jason for several weeks now. I had to go through a couple of counselors before him and I am so grateful that I was connected with him. He is truly committed and supports what I am going through. He validated my feelings and makes me feel 1,000 times better than when I start the session. I would highly recommend him if you’re looking for someone who is compassionate and wants to help you grow! Thank you thank you thank you Jason!
Jason is awesome. He answers promptly and thoughtfully. His responses make me think and yet also give me room to maneuver and claim ownership. He's the best!
Thank you, Jason, for helping me in my journey to become a better version of myself. I still have work to do but I am confident that with your support and guidance I will one day be the person I know I can be.
He is an excellent counselor and in our small about of time has offered great service
Jason's depth of insight, compassionate nature, and expertise have allowed me to achieve considerable emotional growth. It's a pleasure working with him, and I feel privileged to be one of his clients.
Jason has been my counselor for quite some time. I've so appreciated his patience and kindness in dealing with me. I felt free to be myself and be honest. And he made me feel comfortable to talk openly about my walk with a God. He responded in a timely manner and checked in when he didn't hear from me for a few days. I would highly recommend him!
Jason is very caring.
Jason is fabulous. He's prompt and insightful with his help, and he asks questions which make me think. So very thankful for him!
After feeling the need for therapy for a really long time, I've decided trying BetterHelp and I can genuinely say that Jason is all I can ask for. He is very supportive and really easy to open up to.
As someone who is afraid of admitting things even to herself, I had always thought that it was impossible for me to share my problems with another human being but Jason helped me overcoming this. Of course we're still working on things but I'm already feeling better, so, thanks Jason!
I had major insights while speaking with Jason. He helped a lot when it came to viewing things from a different perspective and he knows how to listen. He's great at conversation and coming up with ways to get you to where you need to be.
Jason has been so helpful to me. He listens to what I am really trying to say and has been so patient. He does not judge and has very insightful comments to help me move forward at a difficult time in my life. I am so glad I found this site and am especially grateful for having Jason as my counselor.
Jason Adams was awesome! I was able to share my most deepest thoughts and concerns with him. He was very easy to talk to. Thank you, Jason!
I have been working with Jason Adams for a couple of months and he has been a tremendous help in my growth. I came to BetterHelp seeking guidance and counseling over the internet, as I didn't feel like I could talk about some of the things that I was dealing with, face to face.
I initially looked through many of the counselors bio's, and part of Jason's mentioned a Christian college that he attended. That was a similarity that I shared with him and I liked the idea that whoever would help me would come from a Christian background.
I chose well and although I had to get used to a response a day of two later, speaking with him became a part of my week that I looked forward to. I was able to open up and share some very dark and raw times from my past, which I wanted to overcome, and he ALWAYS responded with kindness and sensitivity.
I never felt like I had to hold anything back or be someone I wasn't, which was one of my issues. I would highly recommend Jason Adams for any type of counseling or mentoring.
Jason has been a godsend for me. As a parent, spouse, child, friend, and colleague, I wear many hats like everyone else. Having someone who is here to simply listen and help me sort through all of those things tugging at me has made a huge impact. I am so thankful I made the decision to seek counseling. Thanks Jason!
Jason is truly a great guy to work with. He's extremely insightful and caring.
Very nice to talk to.
Jason is a very perceptive and knowledgeable counsellor. He is able to really get to the heart of my messages and ask the right questions. His suggestions are also smart and useful. Talking to Jason over the past year has been immensely useful. Even during times I've been too busy to message him, just knowing Jason is out there and able to listen makes a real difference.
I have been talking to Jason for several months. I felt a connection within just several days! He's genuinely kind and caring, and is excellent at finding a plan to help you cope and have a better life really. I would highly recommend having Jason for a counselor. It really felt like I was taking to a friend rather than a counselor.
Jason is a caring, considerate, and compassionate counselor. He will not sit there and tell you where you are wrong, but he will work alongside you and help you come up with solutions. He is kind and easy to talk to. I highly recommend him to anyone.
Jason has really connected with me. His approach is to really get as much information as he can to be able to give advice that is actually beneficial. I reached out for help, and as my counselor, I feel really helped. I feel like someone is listening and offering advice based on what I have shared. It's not cookie-cutter advice... It's a real perspective that helped me to at least not feel like I was overreacting. I really appreciate his approach and hope to continue working successfully with him.
Jason was extremely helpful in getting to a place where I could comfortably accept the emotions I was feeling instead of trying to get away or deny them. He's not in front of his computer every moment of every day so it can take a few days to get a response sometimes - but thy are genuinely thoughtful and helpful when he does send them.
Jason has been great! He gets back to me in good time and he's very relatable which is important to me. He answers to every issue in my personal life that I have expressed concern with. His experiences and his insight have given me a different perspective that has helped a lot. I am excited to read the books he recommended and hopefully that will also help on my journey to become happy again.
I think BetterHelp has a lot to offer. I have been working with Jason Adams - he is wonderful. He has been uber professional, caring, and kind. I appreciate him very much.
I would recommend BetterHelp to anyone seeking help as I think it is a good forum, and Jason Adams is great.
Thank you for providing this service. I think it is a valuable option for mental health care.
Jason is very encouraging and insightful! He asks thought-provoking questions and follows up with recommendations on further reading which continues the skill set for making a better life for me and my family. He validates when I am headed in the right direction and continues to probe for other issues that may need to be addressed. I would recommend Jason to others without hesitation.
Jason has been a tremendous help. I never thought counseling online would be helpful but it has been. He is truly concern about everything in going through. He always seems to send me a message when I need most. I will continue to talk to him because things have begun to get better for me. He had open my eyes to a lot of things that I've never knew were truly bothering me. I would recommend him.
Jason has been very thoughtful and helpful. He responds quickly and is really kind.
