From the start of the first session I knew Jason was the right therapist. He validated my feelings. He listened and made sure he was hearing/understanding what I was saying. Even after going down many rabbit trails he kept up. His responses to my messages were quicker than I expected. He listened when I mentioned not needing a response to my messages. He knew exactly what I meant: I just need to write it out. I’m not one to like video chats for therapy, but Jason made it real, safe, and not awkward.
