About me

Hello! My name is Jason Belcourt. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and South Carolina with ten years of professional work experience.
In my years of practicing, I have helped individuals overcome depression and anxiety allowing them to live healthy and more fulfilling lives. I have supported and helped individuals navigate through the deep and stormy waters of grief and loss. Further, I have assisted individuals in developing skills and lifestyles that assist them in effectively managing stress, increasing self-confidence and motivation, and help individuals develop a healthy and balanced sense of self-worth and self-esteem.
A shout out to all parents who may be struggling with parenting! I bet there are times when you wish that your child came into this world with their own personality and temperament manuals and parenting strategies to address unwanted behaviors. Unfortunately, they do not! I have experience assisting parents in honing their parenting skills and improving the parent-child relationship.
Are you ready to grow and live to your fullest potential? I have a passion for helping individuals tap into their strengths so that they can overcome their challenges. I am committed to walking alongside you as you take courageous steps along your personal path to healing. I want you to know that I am here to help, and I pledge to listen, validate, support, challenge, and empower you to achieve your goals in a safe and caring counseling experience.

Jason is the man! He strikes a great balance of both listening and offering insight and learning. I have been impressed with his ability to be personable and warm but also stay independent and keep the role and focus of a therapist.

Jason Belcourt is an authentically caring, experienced and helpful voice of reason.
His professional presence in my life was one of the most valuable blessings of 2023. I eagerly anticipate new adventures and self growth with his steady leadership. If every BHBD therapist is even 25% as gifted and passionate about personal growth, this
on-line resource will change the world.
