I has been counseling individuals and couples since July 2007 while serving as a pastor and spiritual leader. My desire to help people led to me completing my MA in counseling from Midwestern Baptist Seminary and have been working as a professional counselor since August 2018. I recently completed my doctorate in professional counseling from Mississippi College in August 2021.
My approach to counseling is holistic in nature and I believe in counseling the “whole” individual (thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and social considerations). I use an integrative design of various counseling theories that utilizes a broad array of both evidence-based and protocol-driven interventions which has shown positive outcomes for individuals experiencing mental health struggles as well as substance abuse clients.
I love working with all my clients and have experience with children, adolescents, adults, as well as veterans dealing with trauma. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you to become the best version of yourself!

Dr. Reasor is a wealth of knowledge and helped me get back on path by giving me the tools to better understand those around me as well as myself.
Written on Oct 25, 2023 after therapy with Jason for 3 months on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, addictions, relationship issues, family conflicts, intimacy-related issues, sleeping disorders, self esteem, anger management, career difficulties, coping with life changes, coaching, and compassion fatigue
Working with Jason was such an important experience for me. He was understanding, easy to talk too, and offered valuable perspective that helped me better work with and manage my emotions.
To echo another review, I had concerns initially due to his background and my being non-religious. I was completely wrong though and had a fantastic time working with Jason! He offered a lot of neuroscience, which I loved, and practical ways to work through problems and emotions. Cannot recommend him more!

I worked with Dr Reasor for quite a few months and felt he really helped me through a rough time. Before starting sessions with him, I was having a terrible time coping with stress and anxiety and I was lashing out at undeserving people because of it. I learned so much from him and feel I have grown through our sessions.

I am not new to therapy but it has been some time since I’ve felt the need to get some help. I came here during a difficult time when just about everything in my life was in flux and I lost a close long time friend. I was a little apprehensive when I matched with Jason because I wasn’t sure we would mesh (I am not religious in any way ) but I am so glad I was wrong. He is so comforting and patient, down to earth and easy to talk with. When I needed guidance the most he gave me solid mental tools and manageable goals for getting through days when I wasn’t sure I could. He has helped me immensely with an overwhelming time in my life, I am so grateful to have met him on this platform.

Jason is the best counselor and helper I have had, and I have had many (>5).
Jasons knowledge of therapies skills for veterans specifically was of great help to me. Other therapist were unable to connect real world help with my personal needs, but Jason Reasor found ways to help me through counsel that provided real world understanding and perspective.
My life is better because of Jason Reasor.

I have been working with Jason for two months now. I reached out to him during a time of crisis, when I knew I needed professional intervention. I'm very new to therapy and Jason was really great in letting me take it at my own pace and be very supportive. He encouraged me to work through identifying things on my own, helping me to name what I was feeling and encouraging me when issues came back up. The counseling has allowed me to reflect and examine things I accepted as normal and put value on being able to be my own person. Very grateful for his calm, positive and compassionate demeanor.

I have found the sessions with Jason very helpful. He took time to understand what the issues were and suggested some helpful strategies. He answers messages promptly and thoughtfully and adjusted his schedule to find a time for sessions that suited me.

Jason Reasor helped me during a desperate and grief-stricken time in my life. His professionalism, knowledge and counseling methods are OUTSTANDING. I am so grateful to him and for his support and guidance in my life. He was able to hear me and then give me such advice that I would not have been able to get, left to my own devices. After a few months I feel so much better, I feel optimistic, hopeful, and supported! Thank you to Jason for providing this very needed service.
Written on May 29, 2021 after therapy with Jason for 1 month on issues concerning relationship issues, grief, parenting issues, and self esteem
I worked with Jason for a few months regarding a number of topics including my anxiety, family issues and addiction. I really enjoyed working with Jason and took a lot from our sessions, incorporating multiple behavioural techniques into my daily life which helped me with the problems I was going through. He would always respond to me on the chat function in a very timely manner whenever I had any issues or anything I wanted to discuss between our sessions. He really took the time to help me understand the reasons I felt the way I did in certain situations and I honestly felt supported throughout the whole process. It was a pleasure to work with him - I would definitely recommend.
