Jayne Lewis, NCPS
About me
I am a Counsellor and Hypnotherapist working with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, OCD, and ADHD.
My work in a professional and voluntary capacity spans over forty years and I have learnt a lot about the overwhelming challenges of daily life, and how this can also be affected by past trauma, sometimes without us realising.
As an Integrative Counsellor I can offer a range of techniques but will always start with a Person-Centred approach to enable us to get to know each other and establish your individual needs. We may then include some other modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, hypnotherapy or Psychodynamic activities to aid your therapeutic journey.
I believe that relaxation and self-care are key to helping to relieve many of the pressures you may be facing. We may explore your physical, emotional, social, professional, and spiritual self care, and you might like to include some meditation to your treatment. We can discuss that during our sessions: whatever route we take will be chosen by you - I am here to support you.
It is often hard to realise you need support to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and often taking the first step is the hardest part of therapy. I want to reassure you that I offer a safe space to allow you to do that. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I am happy to work with clients all over the world, and can usually find a slot that covers all time zones. If you cannot find a suitable time in my diary please message me - I can often be flexible.
I look forward to working with you!
