Jeffrey Myers, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri and started my work in this field in the late 2000’s. I have experience helping individuals and families attempting to cope with addiction, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma and grief. While I've worked in a variety of setting, I was attracted to working with BetterHelp because of the way it makes quality mental health support so private and accessible. I can appreciate that talking to others about things you normally just keep in your head is difficult and uncomfortable. However, having a trained, balanced and objective person to do this with in life is quite valuable. That is the service I aim to provide for those I work with - a safe place to talk where you can expect to be heard, challenged and encouraged.

I just started seeing Jeffrey Myers, and so far so good. I was apprehensive at first with having a male therapist. I thought it might be difficult to be transparent, but Jeff was easy to warm up to. I felt like i was talking to my brother or good friend. I never felt any judgment.

I haven't been working with Jeffrey Meyers very long but so far I really like him. He's positive and offers insights that I might not see from my side of things. I feel seen and heard during our interactions.
