Let me help you overcome the challenges of daily living. My name is Scott, and my past experience has taught me that helping one resolve childhood trauma, often a root cause for many mental health issues, is as rewarding an experience for a therapist as it is for a patient. I also enjoy helping couples overcome marital issues, as well as working with parents on how to better approach their children. Helping parents is something I enjoy. I can work through many different modalities to help you in areas of depression, anxiety, and other disorders. I have worked in counseling for nearly 30 years helping others at every stage of life. Let me help you on your journey!

Scott is really a good match for me, he's everything I was looking for in a therapist! He listens well, offers great insights, gives resources and tools, and when I don't know what to talk about, he helps guide the session. Highly recommend Scott!

Scott has been an inspiration to me in that he helps me look at my world from a refreshing and accurate perspective. After only the first session, I had the tools and perspective necessary to start making valuable and empowering changes in my life. I needed to talk to someone who was down-to-earth and give me a new set of eyes. Scott is flexible in his approach; if you just need to vent or if you genuinely need guidance, then he works with what your needs are. After only three sessions, I’ve made major changes to my business and personal relationships, and those around me are benefitting more. Thanks, Scott - you’re helping me a lot. There’s still more to unpack and address, but the immediate and major roadblocks have largely been removed and I have a better sense of self and purpose.

Scott helped me through a transitionary and somewhat frustrating time in my life. He was always respectful when allowing me to vent and gave me the time and space to really talk through my thoughts and emotions. Scott has a way of guiding you to problem solve through discussion and active listening. Even in sessions where there was not much to talk about, it was still really nice to just chat. He is a very empathic listener and I would gladly go back to him the next time I decide to use BetterHelp.

He is a great listener, validated my feelings and experiences, and seamlessly integrated ways to reframe my thinking into the conversation. He also sends really helpful worksheets, reads journal entries, and comes back to these topics in session. 10/10 would recommend!

Scott is a thoughtful and warm therapist that allows you to lead conversation. He observes and jumps in with a thought-provoking insight then lets you verbally process.

Jeffrey is a great listener and he gave good advice that I could apply to my own situation. His key phrase "Just try to stay in the present moment" will stay with me. I can recommend therapy with him. Thanks so much!

Jeffrey understood my situation from the start, and has met me with empathy, caring, and guidance the whole way along. He has been a consistent voice of support, and provided me with perspective on the challenges I've faced. Jeff takes the time to figure out what I want out of life, has helped me to stay on the right track to getting there, and offers me course corrections when I need them. I'm a stronger, more self-assured, and happier person for having met Jeff and I look forward to our next session.

Better help was the first time I sought therapy and Jeffrey was the first therapist I had ever spoken with. From the first session, he understood my situation and was able to give me guidance through my emotions and thoughts, ways to better communicate and how to be loving and caring to myself. I am now on a positive path and doing better for myself and my future success in life. I give a huge thank you to Jeffrey.
