Jeffrey Janes, LCSW
About me
I have been providing mental/behavioral health and social work services for just short of 20 years in a variety of roles and settings. I have been a licensed therapist (LCSW)for the past 6 years. The majority of my career has been working directly with teens and their families.
I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, & motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I work with my clients to learn how to identify and solve their problems by taking ownership for their lives by doing their best with what they can control. Taking control of your own life is hard but it builds the confidence and self-worth that is required to be happy and successful.
The first step to creating a more fulfilling and happier life is admitting that something isn't working and that you want to change whatever it is. I am here to support you in that process by utilizing the fundamentals of psychological treatment. We work to develop our resiliency to resolve life's challenges.

Jeffrey has been great to work with, I feel I can communicate effectively and be heard. He is the first therapist I have seen that gives optimism while being professional, cordial and respectful.

Jeffrey has a great approach to counseling. He thoroughly breaks down concepts. He also cheers me on when I overcome a fear or push myself outside of my comfort zone. He is a good listener and is easy to talk to. I greatly appreciate having him as a counselor!!
