I have enjoyed 25 years of serving many in differing settings who have suffered from a variety of issues. Moreover, I have assisted those with less severe mental health conditions who intend to improve themselves or their relationships.
Those served have included, but are not limited to, people with stress/anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship issues, difficulties finding meaning, identity questions, spiritual struggles, low self-esteem, obsessions/compulsions, etc.
I create a comfortable and safe space, first through rapport building, and secondarily through a “challenge and support” approach. This entails active listening, empathy, education, compassion, and an emphasis on the altering of one’s maladaptive thinking patterns with the use of multifaceted, integrative interventions.
I look forward to continuing assisting those in need.
