My biggest concern when considering therapy was being judged, because I'm so judgmental of myself. I have a sketchy past &, honestly, a pretty sketchy present or I wouldn't need therapy I guess. Jenifer is neutral & nonjudgmental, helps me sort out my emotions & the decisions I made while I was in the middle of those emotions, so I can figure out why I do the things I do. I don't know if this will be a big compliment to Jenifer, because I don't understand other people very well, but it would be a huge compliment to me: Jenifer is wonderful at helping me remember to show myself kindness, reminding me that I'm as worthy of compassion as those I show compassion to. She helps me remember that the same good qualities I project outward also apply to me: I, too, am kind, courageous, and have value.
