Jennie Walmsley
About me
I am an experienced and empathic Integrative counsellor - that simply means I am not wedded to one approach, but adapt to the needs of clients. I have experience helping with a wide range of issues including stress, anxiety and depression and have worked extensively with survivors of sexual abuse and trauma. I am registered with the BACP - one of the main UK professional bodies - and abide by their ethical framework. I have also worked as a coach and trainer for many years, using skills acquired in a wide-ranging broadcasting career, helping people understand their professional roles and communicate more clearly. Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Jennie Walmsley. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Jennie is a therapist I would highly recommend. She takes a compassionate approach and is supporting me through one of the most difficult times in my life. She is highly skilled whilst maintaining an empathetic caring approach. I would trust her with my life, and in a way, I am. She has learnt that trust through her professionalism and innately human way of working with me.

Though I have only seen Jennie for two sessions so far, I have quickly warmed to her as she is friendly, professional and astute, putting me at ease from the get-go. I feel very comfortable in her presence even though before signing up to Better Help, I had worried about online sessions instead of them being in-person. I am very glad to have been matched with Jennie.
