I love empowering my clients using various therapeutic and cognitive behavioral approaches. I have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with mental health, addiction, and co-occurring disorders. I have worked in the counseling field for over 17 years. I have worked in an inpatient treatment facility for almost 8 years as well as residential and outpatient centers. I have addressed issues related to self- esteem, parenting, addiction, tobacco cessation, family dynamics, codependency, anger management, depression, anxiety, and trauma utilizing evidenced-based strategies including effective communication skills, self-compassion, meditation, mindfulness, relationship building skills, forgiveness, and conflict resolution. I have created several original materials to assist in the therapeutic process and to best fit my client’s needs. I utilize a solution focused approach building from a person’s strengths and utilizing a variety of value-based techniques to assist my clients in achieving a healthier and more fulfilled life.
I am certified in Problem Solving Treatment and have taught various parenting classes including Love and Logic. I love the outdoors i.e. camping, hiking, taking my dog on an adventure and just soaking it all in. I have two wonderful adult sons and 3 beautiful grandchildren. I enjoy photography and I have started a few new hobbies with metal forging/blacksmithing, jewelry/beading, and working with beautiful stone.

Don't hesitate to ask and I will do my best to accommodate if at all possible at the available time. In the meantime, feel free to message anytime 24/7. Basically, it is what you are most comfortable with and at your own pace. I generally can respond at least once per morning and once per evening, sometimes more! Jennifer approaches each conversation with an open ear, tailoring feedback and suggestions for "deep dives" only after she's gotten to know you and your situation. I would highly recommend her as a therapist for the novice to the experienced. Thanks, Jen!

She’s amazing
Very compassionate and insightful. In just a few sessions she's helped unlock connections between current struggles and deep issues of my past in a way that's helping me heal and grow.
Have been working with Jennifer for a few weeks now, and it has been great! Her resources have been helpful and I feel much better after we’ve talked.
So far I've only had a couple sessions with Jennifer but they have been extremely productive. I was instantly comfortable with her and never once have i felt the need to hold anything back. I may have only spoken to her twice, but it feels like I have known her way longer than that. I am excited to see what the future has in store for me and to regain the confidence that I know I am capable of, and it will all be with the help of Jennifer.
Great counselor!!
She is amazing and really listens but also lets you know when you nee to go about something in a more healthier approach
Oh man Jennifer is great. She is calming and a great listener. She seems to know how to ask the hard questions that need to be asked and yet compassionate when asking. I am ever grateful for her!
Jennifer is very helpful as a counselor. I would highly recommend her to others. She is very professional.
I have never had a counselor like Jennifer. Sometimes when words fail me, her empathetic nature just allows her to understand and feel me. She listens closely, is warm-hearted and patient. She always provides great sources that help with coping strategies. She also challenges you in a very kind way , to grow and learn to embrace your emotions instead of seeing them as enemies. I would recommend Jennifer one hundred percent.
Although it's only been a short time that I've been working with Jennifer, after every session I have felt a sense of a relief and excitement to continue this journey. You can tell Jennifer cares about my thoughts, feelings, and actions. I have found it easy to open up and be honest. She has given me many tools and resources to continue working outside of our sessions. I look forward to our weekly video sessions and the messages I receive throughout the week from Jennifer. I can't wait to continue working with her!
Jennifer has been a life saver for me! So easy to talk to and such a wealth of knowledge. I am so grateful to have found a her!
I’ve only had one session with Jennifer and a few days of chatting with her.. but already she has helped so so so much and I really appreciate her advice. She’s very very pleasant to talk to during our video sessions. I didn’t have much hope in this kind of tele therapy but I think I like it more than normal counseling. I’m very pleased with it all!
Jennifer is incredibly patient and helpful
Jennifer has been incredibly helpful. I've been through a lot, and rarely discuss it with people because a lot of them brush me off, or flat out call me a liar. Having someone who I know is not only willing to listen, but also won't laugh at me. Knowing that I can talk about my issues and get honest advice is such a relief.
Jennifer is such a good listener. With BetterHelp I can write anytime depending on my mood & it's comforting Jennifer will be with me shortly. I like her soft, calming voice that smiles. She has me thinking all is well within minutes.
I am extremely busy and sometimes can't answer for days at a time, but Jennifer keeps sending me helpful messages, projects I can work on, and doesn't make me feel bad for neglecting myself. I know that I am, but there is so much in life that needs taken care of and I end up putting myself last. Opening up the app and having all the encouraging messages, videos and everything she sends me really helps me to calm down, even if I don't have time to respond or watch them right away.
Jennifer is great. Highly recommend her.
Jennifer is a very caring compassionate individual. She has no trouble relating to extremely odd bits of yourself and brings a loving light hearted perspective that makes it hard to not smile. She's wonderful.
Jennifer Hill has been amazing, patient, and very supportive of me through some difficult times.
She has been a wonderful help. She helped me so much and I can't thank her enough. Anyone would benefit from her!
