About me
Hello! I am glad you are here. You have come to my page because there is some type of struggle in your life right now. The search for support is a brave step and an important step. I am here to help you navigate this part of your journey by supporting you along the way. Here is a little more information about me:
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and I have been in the helping profession in one way or another for more than nine years. My first professional career was as an Elementary teacher and then I moved into Middle School/High School counseling, and as a Social Emotional Counselor for the alternative education program. I currently supervise licensed professionals for the same school district. Through my school-work career, I have had opportunities to work with people of all ages. I have the unique experience of seeing firsthand how a crisis, grief, interpersonal conflict, trauma, and family conflict can impact each person in the family in a different way. When we work together I hope to build a meaningful connection, so that the work you do is specific to your needs and your growth.
My approach may vary depending on what you need and what you're hoping to gain. Primarily I focus on a client-centered approach in which unconditional regard to your care is key. I may also utilize tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Reality Therapy, Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy, and Client-Centered therapy. Some of the tools from those approaches help YOU empower YOU!
My goal as your professional counselor is to provide a safe and ethical space for you to explore, work through, and grow emotionally. I consider myself laid back, non-judgmental, and a good perspective taker. I hope that I may help you during this time in your life.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Jennifer Parker. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Love Jennifer! Betterhelp is lucky to have her, I hope they don’t let her go! She has helped me tremendously with all my problems, even if they were tiny she still cared, you can’t find anyone as amazing as her, her super power is being a therapist! I never felt judged and always understood by her, I’m a very closed off and introverted person and even she was able to help me because she really cares about her clients. She was my therapist for almost 3 years!! Thanks for everything :)
Love Jennifer! Always there for me to listen.
Jennifer is great
I’ve had her as a therapist for over a year now and my review is still the same. She is very kind. Very accepting. She checks in on me when she notices in short or am not replying. She knows I have life consuming me, and will encourage me. She has been amazing since the beginning. I appreciate BetterHelp for connecting me with a therapist that really does care.
Listens, and respects me. Provides great insight and tips to help me with self care.
Jennifer is amazing and has been helping me for over a year now.
I've been talking with Jennifer for about 9 months, and I can't even begin to explain how thoughtful, non-judgmental, and caring she is. Super available, always checks in, and actually cares about each individual and genuinely listening to you and hearing from you.
Jennifer has been supportive of my busy schedule and doesn’t insist on a set appointment. She has been flexible and texted with me when ever I’ve needed. That has been such a big help with all that has been going on in our hospital! She is not pushy or judgmental of your issues and concerns. She is just supportive. Thanks!!
My life has changed so much since I started talking to Jenifer. My anxiety and depression has gotten so much better over the past few weeks!
Jennifer is very insightful and understands me. She helps me to deal with my problems in an effective manner.
She’s been amazing. Understanding what I’ve been through and walking me through different steps to overcome my past.
I love Jennifer! Her advice and guidance helped me through my situation.
Jennifer has been a tremendous help to me as I navigate this season of life. Her support in helping me find answers, understand myself and grow in my confidence has made such a difference for me. I would highly recommend Jennifer as a Counselor to anyone looking to find support.
Jennifer seems to understand what I am experiencing and offers possible solutions through messaging. I do wish we could talk on the phone or video chat more, writing (in my opinion) isn't always the best at conveying stories, thoughts, feelings etc.
