About me

Hi! You just made the single HARDEST and MOST IMPORTANT decision to feel better by asking for help.

My name is Jennifer. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and have been providing supportive counseling for around 20 years. This means I will listen to you, your problems, and challenges, so I can learn to better understand you. By understanding what you need and hope to accomplish, I will be able to help you with your current life challenges. This will help us to work towards making improvements that will help you feel better about yourself right away and in the future. How does that sound to you?
Initially, in therapy, it might seem like therapy is going slow as you share your experiences and I learn to understand your feelings and ideas. Hopefully, I will be able to provide some calming exercises, as well as some “short-term solutions” that will help you feel better right away. It is hard to function daily when you are feeling anxious and stressed and cannot concentrate on daily activities.
Life can seem so confusing and hard to navigate sometimes. Even though it feels like you are alone, you are not. Many people go through different stages in life and have trouble “finding their way”. You may find it helpful to know that I have experience being the “client” in a “counseling relationship” and I was very choosy about what I looked for in my therapist/counselor. I am a person who needs to know I can say absolutely anything to my counselor, and they will not think any less of me. I need to feel understood, validated, and that my therapist is genuinely concerned for my well-being. I hope you know I will be here for you in the same way. Together we can work towards understanding why you feel certain ways, finding peace and contentment in your life now and in your future. If all this sounds like a plan you would like to work on, let me know, and we can begin as soon as you like. I am looking forward to helping you feel better! She is wonderful and deep. Its helpful that she had trauma in her life to better understand the needs of others.

Jenn is a great therapist. I haven't had a ton of sessions with her, but she really tries to understand me. She's knowledgable and has given me a lot of advice. I appreciate her.

Jennifer is amazing and can really empathize with you. She's not big on being "clinical" so it's really easy to talk with her and work on yourself. I'm grateful to BetterHelp and my therapist for helping me in some of the hardest times of my life.

I love Jennifer. She is an amazing therapist and person to talk to. She helps me feel calm and confident. I truly respect her insight and thoughts on many topics. She is professional but also has a level of relatability I appreciate. She likes to have fun and not stay so serious which I love!!
