About Me

Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker in both Texas and Kentucky with over 10 years of experience in psychotherapy and 20 years in human services. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, adjustment disorders, substance abuse & addiction, crisis management, and spiritual crises. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse and worked with LGBTQIA+ clients.

My counseling style is casual and collaborative because everyone needs to feel comfortable and you are essential to your own healing. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and psychodynamic counseling. I draw from a plethora of healing modalities and treatment perspectives. I am also trained as an EMDR therapist. Everyone has a unique form of healing and I serve as a guide to discover yours.

I applaud you for seeking a more fulfilling life for yourself. Taking this first step could be the beginning of a life of possibilities. I am here to support you.

Jennifer has supported me through one of the toughest situations of my life. My fiance went through a mental health crisis that was beyond manageable and I tried to manage it as best as I possibly could. With Jennifer's help I became aware of things that I could not control and my own emotions while dealing with the love of my life losing herself and me loosing the person I love. I would highly recommend Jennifer to anybody going through any struggle or crisis in their own life or just needing someone to talk through life with. She has a broad variety of expertise and plenty of coping mechanisms tools and skills to help anyone including myself understand something that I had never been through and couldn't come to terms with. She responds on time is engaging in video and phone and messaging therapy and is a very attentive caring therapist. I've been through many therapists in my life in person and this has been the most beneficial experience with a therapist that I have ever had. I would highly recommend her and her skill set and expertise and I have recommended her and this service to many friends as it is economical and beyond beneficial and has helped my life and my mental health.

Jennifer is amazing. I have worked with many therapist and she is amazing to help people who have gone through traumas ( this is the area she is helping me with).
She is very patient, very compassionate. She understand you and makes you feel not only "not judged " but also helps you not judging yourself for how you feel and accept the feelings.
She is very serious in her sessions and also very relax. She is to the point but never pass any limits.
It is easy to talk to her and I am glad I found her to work with. Thank you Jennifer

She is great I feel that she really understands what you wanna talk about. She doesn’t push the subject if you don’t wanna talk about it. Jennifer is really open and understanding.

Jennifer Taylor is an amazing councillor, she listens and understands my issues I have with my daughter and mums condition being narcissistic. She remembers everything from all of the previous sessions that has been discussed and the people in my life. Just after 3 sessions with Jennifer I have noticed a big shift how I am dealing with my daughter and in order to have a close relationship with my grandchildren.despite my daughters narcissistic ways. Looking forward to experiencing more weekly sessions with Jennifer.
