About me

Hi! My name is Jenny and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, chronic mental illness, PTSD and ADHD. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma, sexual abuse, survivors of human trafficking and emotional abuse. My counseling style is warm and engaging, with a focus on the therapeutic relationship needed for our work together to be meaningful and effective. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, no matter what your background is or the details of your story. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral and client centered counseling. I am also trained in the use of trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy to specifically address concerns related to trauma and PTSD. It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!

Jenny is a great listener and provides excellent guidance and support. I'd recommend her to anyone at the drop of a hat. She neutralized all my feelings of nervousness about sharing how I was feeling, and I look forward to our sessions each week.
