About me

I am a Doctor of Clinical Psychology with over 15 years of experience as a licensed mental health counselor and international life coach. I’ve had the honor of supporting people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds through a wide range of emotional, spiritual, and psychological challenges.

My clinical experience includes trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, mood disorders, suicidal ideation/attempt, crisis intervention, domestic violence, codependency, and more. I work collaboratively with you to create meaningful, realistic goals and gently track your progress as your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors begin to shift.

My approach is holistic and healing. I blend evidence-based methods with mindfulness, depth work, and spiritual grounding—drawing from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, solution-focused work, Jungian principles, and other integrative modalities.

In our sessions, you will find warmth, openness, compassion, and complete nonjudgment. I hold a safe, sacred space where your voice is honored and your story is treated with care.

By seeking support, you’ve already taken a powerful step toward healing. You deserve to be heard, understood, and supported. I would be honored to walk with you as we nurture growth, clarity, and transformation together.

She’s been an amazing support especially during times where I had nobody to count on. She truly cares about her patients and it really shines through. I’ve never had a therapist like this. Someone who 100% actually cares about my well-being and finds ways to help

Dr. Carter is a seasoned professional and knows how to handle every situation I’ve been through. She has been able to guide me through life seasons and build up my mental health toolbox to a large extent. I expect to work with her for a long time, and know that my healing will only continue and I will learn so much more from her. I have worked with her for almost a year now and she has been essential to where my mental health is today.
