I am a fully licensed professional counselor and have dedicated my last 10 years to helping others overcome so many struggles in their lives. I am a big believer in helping my people learn and grow, so THEY can overcome their obstacles. I love to get to know my people and help them directly tackle their immediate problems. I am a firm believer in teaching mental health principles and then helping my people tackle their core problems. I am less of a “just sit and question” kind of counselor, and maybe less about reflecting emotions also, but more about problem solving with my people. But, I also love feedback and will try to adjust to your preferences.
I started my journey in 2003, at 28 years old, when I went to Arkansas State University. I received a degree in psychology and went out to work in the mental health community. I loved my work and decided to go back. I graduated with my Ed.S. in mental health counseling and have been helping as a licensed counselor since 2012, and love my work.

Jeremiah is a wonderful therapist. He was able to pick up on my perfectionist tendencies during our first appointment, and helped me figure out how to challenge a lot of unhelpful patterns of thinking. Jeremiah is kind, professional, and very insightful. I also appreciate his funny stories!

I have been damaged by a few medical professionals both, physical medicine and psychological. My trust in anyone telling me that they were there to help was gone. Then I met this blessing. Jeremiah doesn't push in any ways that trigger that he's trying to get me to talk. I just feel more natural telling him because, while I believe he truly does care, I don't have the stress that he's there for anything else. He is as professional as my mood requires and will ease me into the focus of our time with small talk when I need it. I genuinely cannot say enough good thing about him and I've not had many sessions yet. I look forward to our progress!
