About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Alaska as well a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of Ohio. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Youngstown State University in the state of Ohio. My focus was in Clinical Social Work.
I have worked with diverse client populations. Most recently I worked as a Military Family Life Counselor in Livorno, Italy providing short-term solution focused counseling services to adults, children, adolescents and families of the military.
I have previously worked as an Adolescent Support and Counseling Services Counselor in the United Kingdom working with military and non military families and students. I have spent many years overseas and uniquely understand expatriate concerns. Treatment modalities may include CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and general Rogerian Psychotherapy. An Integrated approach can be utilized as well based on treatment focus and concerns. I am a good listener and genuinely enjoy helping clients navigate the challenges life can throw at you.
