Hello, my name is Jerry Guy LCMHC, LCAS. I completed my Masters in Counseling at Liberty University in 2014. I began my counseling career working with clients addicted to opiates. This experience allowed me the opportunity to see the person behind the addiction and help them to find themselves and hope for a new life. I have worked with people from all walks of life and I truly love what I do. My goal is to make everyone I meet feel comfortable and safe and to help them understand they are defined by their past and they can still create the life they want. I believe we all have value and I work to help people grow and succeed . I have been on my own for the past 2 years and I am currently with couples and individuals. I use a variety of different methods and techniques that are tailored to my clients needs. I believe that through my education and life experience I am able to provide a supportive and empathetic approach that helps my clients achieve the results that they want.

I’ve been meeting with Jerry for months now. I feel listened to and respected, even when things get really tough to talk about.
He helps me navigate and come to my own conclusions, and asks all the right questions. I love forward to our meetings.

Since starting with Jerry I really feel like I may be turning a corner. He has been so extremely helpful in helping me understand myself. I’ve had other therapists but this is the first time I’ve actually understood why I do what I do.
