About Me
Hello, my name is Jerry Guy LCMHC, LCAS. I completed my Masters in Counseling at Liberty University in 2014. I began my counseling career working with clients addicted to opiates. This experience allowed me the opportunity to see the person behind the addiction and help them to find themselves and hope for a new life. I have worked with people from all walks of life and I truly love what I do. My goal is to make everyone I meet feel comfortable and safe and to help them understand they are defined by their past and they can still create the life they want. I believe we all have value and I work to help people grow and succeed . I have been on my own for the past 2 years and I am currently with couples and individuals. I use a variety of different methods and techniques that are tailored to my clients needs. I believe that through my education and life experience I am able to provide a supportive and empathetic approach that helps my clients achieve the results that they want.

Since starting with Jerry I really feel like I may be turning a corner. He has been so extremely helpful in helping me understand myself. I’ve had other therapists but this is the first time I’ve actually understood why I do what I do.
Jerry is great. He listens to your problem. Tries to find the root of the issue and gives you ways to try and fix it
Jerry is even and non judgmental. He provides a variety of resources to help frame and unpack issues. He's timely and flexible. Good communicator.
Jerry has been very helpful in the few weeks I've been meeting with him. He gives me a male perspective to my issues, which is also very helpful.
Jerry is a great listener and offers sound counsel.
Excellent counselor.
I have only worked with Jerry a bit but it has been very useful. He is thoughtful and listens well and offers great insight as well as checking up. I have been very satisfied with my sessions.
Jerry is compassionate, and Christ centered in his practice. He is very insightful about causation and yet very gentle in his delivery. Therapy sessions with him seem like talking to an old friend who happens to be a great counselor. As a woman, I feel comfortable discussing delicate matters with him, he is very professional and caring. I highly recommend him.
Jerry has a knack for being able to pull things out that I had never thought of! Happy with his guidance thus far!
Jerry is kind, intuitive, and very quickly proved he knew me better than I know myself. After a couple of sessions I immediately began feeling better about myself and am looking forward to future sessions.
