About me

Welcome! I'm Jessica, and I'm glad you're here.

Reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, and I know it isn't always easy to take that first step. My hope is to provide a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and truly heard from the moment we meet.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Tennessee, I've had the privilege of working with individuals experiencing a wide variety of life's challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship and family concerns, parenting struggles, adoption-related experiences, and major life transitions. My professional background includes residential treatment, mobile crisis, outpatient counseling, and in-home therapy. Those experiences have allowed me to work with people from many different walks of life and with a wide range of needs, helping me meet clients wherever they are in their journey.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I don't believe there is a single "right" way to do therapy because every person has a unique story, strengths, and goals. Rather than focusing on labels, I focus on understanding you as a whole person and creating a treatment plan that fits your needs.

I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches. More importantly, I use these tools in a way that feels natural and personalized, helping you build practical skills while creating space to process, heal, and grow.

I see therapy as a partnership. Together, we'll identify meaningful goals, celebrate progress, work through obstacles, and develop strategies that help you create lasting change—not just during our sessions, but in your everyday life.

Seeking support takes courage, and you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for something to change, I'd be honored to walk alongside you. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your journey.

Jessica is so understanding and non-judgmental. My comfort level and trust in her is something I have never had in a therapist.
