Jessica Christmann

About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in North Carolina with a strong passion and deep desire to inspire and heal others through the gift of unconditional presence, warmth, and acceptance. I began counseling as a profession over 7 years ago and have worked with clients with a diverse range of issues/struggles. I have effectively worked alongside clients with chronic mental illness (e.g. Anxiety, Bipolar, Depression, Schizophrenia), addiction issues, and trauma to help them find relief and start living a more meaningful life. The depth of my work is to help you explore your troubles, heal your wounded places, and find the courage to live and speak your authentic truth.

My therapeutic work consists of both Western psychological models (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused) and Eastern philosophical practices (mindfulness, holistic healing, energy work). My approach is trauma integrated and informed, honoring that current symptoms of dis-ease are a result of past life experiences. I will help you cultivate more trust in listening to your mind, body, and soul so that life feels satisfying and meaningful using your inherent wisdom as a guide.

I look forward to working with you.

Hi Jessica, I want to thank you for your encouragement and advice. I felt it has been really useful getting me through a rough patch and I feel re-energized to continue working on keeping my mental health in check day to day. I now feel confident I can manage independently for a while. Thank you so much.

Jessica is very polite, very kind and straightforward. I love how she takes time to ask questions before assuming a situation is x, when in reality it may be y. Thank you for paying attention and taking the time to help me.
