Welcome! So your path has brought you here to BetterHelp, it's likely you are looking for some assistance in dealing with something in your life or your current situation and hope to find a person that can offer that assistance. Perhaps you have found that person right here!
Stepping into therapy can be an overwhelming process but finding the right fit for you is one of the most important aspects of making it work. My hope is our work together is that you feel heard, valued, and supported in whatever you are facing.
I work to empower individuals towards being authentic whole beings. I use a strengths-based approach to help find the silver lining. Research has shown that physical mental emotional and spiritual well-being all play equally significant roles and our livelihood. Therefore I have made the holistic approach my central modality when it comes to my therapy.
My style is purposefully eclectic, to best serve your needs as a client. I believe strongly in a collaborative process in designing counseling experiences. You are the expert on you, the techniques we will use may change depending on your style and needs. Every individual is unique, and no one orientation will serve all.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Jessica Hirte. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Jessica has been wonderful! I had to switch therapists a couple of times because I was not connecting with previous ones. When I got matched with Jessica I told her that I needed to be challenged, what some of the other therapists said to me that were damaging and what I needed. She listened, heard my needs, and challenged me every step of the way.
Some of our sessions were very emotionally raw and during them, Jessica would stop to check in and ask how I was doing. This was so helpful as I have never had a therapist do this before.
Jessica showed so much care for my situation and made it very comfortable for me to talk about anything and everything. Thank you for being great at what you do!
She listens and asks questions that make me critically think. Helps me dig deep to really work on improving.
Jessica is amazing! She listens, understands, and always suggests new perspectives and ways to deal with complex emotions. She makes sure at the end of each session I have goals and steps to reach them, all at my own pace. I leave the space feeling safe, heard, and ready to take on any challenge that comes my way.
Jessica is wonderful. While I am moving off of this platform to a different therapist so that I can use my insurance coverage, my leaving has absolutely no reflection on how great and helpful I have found Jessica. She is warm, approachable, and has done a great job helping me to navigate problems at work, to unpack trauma of a past relationship, and to figure out how to better care for myself. She is a true professional and I am so lucky to have been matched with her.
Jessica is the first time I actually connected with a therapist and felt I could be entirely open with. She is definitely a great person to open up to and listens great and has offered great advice that truly helped, highly recommended
I have been very pleased so far. Thank you.
I have only had one therapy session so far. However Jessica is open to texting, which I really appreciate. It allows me to bring up issues during the week while I'm going through it. She responds quickly with empathy. So far I'm really encouraged to do more therapy.
I have been very happy with the experience.
She is so great at not only listening, but helping you think differently and offering a new perspective.
Jessica is very skilled at helping me untangle the thought processes and beliefs that hold me back from living the life that I want. The work is still ongoing but she has helped me understand the importance of setting boundaries, and I feel safer, calmer, and more empowered in my interactions with people.
Jessica is truly great. On days where I didn’t know what to talk about, she had a knack of helping me talk about things I didn’t even realizing I was holding in!
Very friendly and helpful. Offers outside views that can help you look at things differently.
Jessica is a very wonderful person. She's great at helping visualize the things she talks about with you, to help you get a better understanding of things. I highly recommend her, she's extremely friendly and is willing to help you out in any way she can.
She is fantastic. Easy to talk to.
I activated an account on BetterHelp in a time of crisis and with real trepidation about engaging in therapy. Jessica assuaged my anxiety around therapy and helped me out of my crisis and into taking better steps going forward. Jessica showed me the power talk therapy could have on my life. She is wonderful, insightful and kind. So grateful for her guidance and wisdom~
Two weeks in and I am still loving this way of working on myself!
This is the first time I've ever been able to connect with a counselor and actually open up about some of the stuff I've been dealing with. She gets all the first responder stress when I'm overwhelmed and I never feel judged for my mistakes. She understands my thought processes and always supports me with mind-blowing expertise on my quests for better self care/boundaries/time management/etc.
Jessica is both kind and funny, she is not judgemental or pushy, and she is professional and polite. Would recommend to a friend or loved one
Jessica has been wonderful! She has really given me some tools I can use in overwhelming or stressful situations. She helped brainstorm ideas on how to discuss concerns with my loved ones. I would happily reccommend anyone to her.
She is a great counselor. She always checks on me and encourages me, which I greatly appreciate.
Jessica meets me where I’m at. She provides a supportive, safe space for me to show up as I am. Jessica sees and hears me and gives appropriate constructive feedback.
Jessica has been great, she listens and is able to repeat what I feel was a jumbled mess into a well constructed feedback and breakdown. I feel I don't always orate well, but she has been able to understand me and help me to work through my thoughts, giving me time to speak, think, and listen. Jessica is great.
Jessica provides a safe space for me to express my troubling past and how it affects me currently. She has provided literature and tips on how to handle my addiction and reduce the number of times I act out.
She was very patient and very kind. She helped my get another perspective on what I'm dealing with, which helps. :)
Jessica is patient, kind, understanding and supportive. She's able to understand the concerns I attempt to convey to her, when I'm making a mess of unraveling something and sounding very much as though I've lost my mind. This is done in a knowledgeable, patient way without putting out preconceived ideas that would hinder or confuse my attempts.
While I have no idea how a client is matched to their counselor, this is a perfect match for the help I need. Jessica has been a great blessing,
and im sure she shall continue to be one going foward. Thank you so very much.

I liked Jessica's style. I left the session feeling lighter than when it started. I also was able to clarify goals and feel like she will hold me accountable in a kind/compassionate way for my progress. I felt she was empathetic and gave me new and helpful ways of looking at the situations I am dealing with currently.
Jessica has an observant and constructive approach during sessions. I feel like I am being seen and heard. On days when therapy feels like a struggle before I even begin, she has a tender approach that leaves me feeling lighter than when I started. Overall, I would say that Jessica is adaptable to the vibe of the day.
I was initially hesitant to accept Jessica because she’s much younger than me and I held a bias about receiving counsel from someone younger than me. But I’m really glad I did. She has been the ideal person to meet me in my struggles, help me organize my thoughts, and implement healthy boundaries to improve relationships. Grateful for her and the groupinars.
Jessica is an attentive listener. She hears my concerns and helps me bridge gaps to reach my goals. I like her style of counseling, and am thankful to be working with her.
