Jessica Javier, LCSW
About me
As a licensed therapist with over a decade of experience, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating complex emotional landscapes. My practice focuses on helping clients address challenges like depression, anxiety, relationship dynamics, trauma recovery, and self-esteem development. I offer a compassionate, affirming approach that centers on personal growth, overcoming barriers, and healing.
My therapeutic work centers on creating a supportive environment where individuals can explore their experiences, particularly around trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, communication challenges, and personal identity. I have a broad range of symptoms I treat. I also work with clients undergoing Ketamine and psychedelic treatment. Although I conduct therapy in English, I've worked with diverse populations from various cultural backgrounds and create a culturally sensitive and nonjudgmental environment. Please reach out if you have questions about your particular case.
I draw from evidence-based practices to help clients develop stronger self-understanding, build resilience, and cultivate meaningful connections, such as trauma focused treatment, art therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, and existential approaches. Whether you're struggling with isolation, seeking to understand your life purpose, or working through difficult emotional experiences, I'm here to support your journey with empathy and professional expertise.
I hold a Doctor of Social Work from the University of Southern California, a Master of Social Work from University of Southern California, a Master of Art Therapy from New York University, a certificate of Women in Leadership from Cornell University, and additional training in advanced methods to treat trauma. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Level II.
